Hoping on the New Governor of Jakarta

Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno will be inaugurated as governor and vice governor of DKI Jakarta on Monday, 16 October. Until now, preparations for the inauguration and handover of the post of governor-vice-governor still take place.

Anies-Sandi won the election of DKI Jakarta with the difference of numbers far adrift from rival, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok and Djarot Saiful Hidayat, in the second round. Jakarta elections are fierce, draining the energy of both camps and supporters. So exciting, even mentioned election DKI Jakarta is like a bout of presidential elections.

Pilkada has ended and new leaders of Jakarta will be officially held. Welcome Bang Anies and Bang Sandi. You both have been selected citizens of Jakarta. Now, it is the turn of Jakarta residents to collect your promises during the last campaign.

We certainly hope Anies and Sandiaga able to carry out the mandate well. Not only the citizens of Jakarta who want this city better, but also the desire of many residents of this country. They want to see the country's capital grow into a safe, comfortable, advanced, and modern city by staying friendly to its citizens. In the campaign language Anies-Password: Forward the city, happy citizens.

Jakarta's physical development is important, but human development is far more important. Do not just build, but marginalize and ignore its citizens. Every citizen of Jakarta has the right to get attention, not just be the object of development that goes.

It is a positive step Anies-Sandi takes note of Team Sync before being sworn in. That way, the governor and deputy governor can directly step on the gas with its programs that have been aligned with the program that is and will take place.

A synchronization team was previously formed by Anies-Sandi to outline their vision-missions delivered during the campaign. The team, led by former ESDM minister Sudirman Said, has already submitted his work. This team has prepared hundreds of programs for immediate implementation. The work of the synchronization team made into this book is an important capital for Anies-Sandi.

We also hope Anies and Sandi continue the programs of the previous governors who are considered good. Often when the new governor takes office, all of his predecessor's policies are abandoned. The important new program. No matter the old leader's legacy is good or bad. It's certainly not beautiful. After all, citizens will support good proram, no matter who the previous governor.

We also hope also Anies and Sandi focus on taking care of Jakarta as their promise. May the governor and the deputy governor not be tempted to take a higher position and ignore the voice of the hopeful voters. People's trust is too expensive to waste. Once again, welcome to be governor and deputy governor to Anies and Sandi. To both of you, hope is saddled. Do not waste hope of Jakarta citizens.
