According to Rida, volcanic activity of Gunung Agung is still quite high. In one day it recorded 800 earthquakes around the area of ​​Mount Agung. "The number of earthquakes is very high, an average of 800 times a day," Rida said when met at the Office of Geological Agency, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung, Wednesday (11/10).

In addition, he said, the condition of the mountain is now visible bloated. This is due to the pressure of magma from within. "The mountain is bloated, so fat because there is a magma drive under it, it will erupt, but when (erupt) we do not know," said Rida.

Seeing the development that exists, Rida advise people not to get closer to the area of ​​Mount Agung. In addition, people who are in the zone of nine kilometers and 12 kilometers from Mount Agung should still be evacuated.


"Community psychology thinks boong-boongan, but we look at the data, the mountains are bloated, the sign will erupt, we have to get ready for the worst we hope for the best," he said.
